When Anthony L., a smoker of 35 years, discovered that his advanced stage lung cancer had spread to other parts of his body, his first thought was, “How much time do I have left?” Two years later, he’s doing remarkably well thanks to a revolutionary treatment known as immunotherapy. This intravenous drug, provided to Anthony by Atlantic Health System Cancer Care doctors, helped his body’s own immune system recognize and attack the cancer cells. In fact, a recent PET scan showed a reduction in the size of Anthony’s tumors and is a testament to the clinical trials that make life-extending treatments like immunotherapy possible. Watch more >

Qi Gong
This traditional Chinese practice, which uses low impact exercise and breathing techniques, may help strengthen the body’s vital energy. This class is open to all cancer patients and their healing team; registration is not required.
